A couple of weeks ago, John noticed another chat roomer and I talking about not having received our "prizes" from another show we had listened to (and been in their chat room with). John jumped in on the chat and said something about "not getting your prize, I'll send you both one".

I found out today on the phone (thanks Whack_Job) that John thought he had the software packages he told us he would send us when he made that comment, and later found out that he did not... so he ordered them and had them shipped to us.

Now, I must say

a) I'm not so destitute that a radio prize will or will not be the highlight of my life

cool.gif I don't, however, like the idea of being "bullshat" on any level, radio show or otherwise

C) Life is good when people say they will do something, and actually do it

d) "Whatever" on some of this (you might say), but John is one stand up guy and I really like his show, his ethics, and the possibility that he might bring his entourage to Park City one day (John, I hope you are reading this, your cabin in the Forest is ready to go!)

John, you are a good man and I would be honored to have you as a guest here in Park City... It could be worse, you know, what if I lived in some big ol' city suburb? No cabins you would want to visit in most of those...

Well, anyway, thank you John, you run a flagship. And, btw, I would be happy to send you the $ you spent making your commitment good!
