There are two main methods for downloading shows from the Audio Archives.

The best way to do it is to download and install an RSS Feed reader program.
There are many free ones out there. Here's a link to one that has no Ad-ware
or Spyware RSS Reader
After you have installed the RSS reader program, open your Web Bowser and
go to the Computer Outlook Audio Archives at Weekly Shows then Right-click
on the XML/FeedforAll link in the upper-left corner. Click Copy Shortcut, then
open the RSS reader program and click on Add New Feed. Paste the Shortcut
into the URL space and click Next. After a short link validation, the Reader
program should display a listing of all the Computer Outlook shows available
for downloading. Double-click on the show you want, and it should download
to your computer.

Here's an alternate method if you don't have or want an RSS feed program.
I wouldn't recommend trying it if you are on a dial-up internet connection,
but if you have DSL or cable; here's how:

1. Browse to: Weekly Shows
2. Click on the show that you want to download and let it start playing.
3. Let it play for 1 to 5 minutes (depends on your internet connection speed)
to let it download completely to the Temporary internet files folder on
your computer. Minimize your browser, but don't close it. Let the show
continue to play in the background.
Then you'll have to find your Temporary internet files.

4. Click on your computer's Windows Start button,
then Search, then for Files or Folders...
5. The file name that you want to search for will be...
CO-the date of the show+s + the extension .mp3 example: CO-080207s.mp3
5a. Type the file name in the space... All or part of the file name:
Click More advanced options and put a check mark in the boxes:
Search system folders
Search hidden files and folders
Search subfolders
then click the Search button.
6. After it finds your desired file in Temporary internet files, Right-click on the
file name and copy it to a folder of your choice. The copy will usually have an
extra digit appended to the file name so the example above will show up as:
CO-080207s[1].mp3. The average show is 54 to 56 minutes and file size is
between 9.5 MB and 13 MB.

That's it, you're done! biggrin.gif
Now you can listen to them at your liesure or transfer them to a portable MP3 player.
