Early last week, Apple launched a beta version of Safari that is made specifically for Windows. It will now be going head to head with other popular Windows browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera. A download for the test version of Safari is now available for Windows XP and Vista. When talking about Safari for Windows, Apple chief executive Steve Jobs said, "We think Windows users are going to be really impressed when they see how fast and intuitive Web browsing can be with Safari." Awhile back, Apple introduced iTunes to Windows and it had great success. They're hoping to do the same with Safari.
